A Free Life, A New Beginning
Camp O’Donnell, Brgy Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac - The Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict of San Jose, Tarlac in collaboration with the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Tarlac Provincial Police Office and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 3 resulted to the voluntary surrender of seven (7) Milisyang Bayan (MB) along with one (1) Carbine Caliber 30 Rifle and one (1) hand grenade in a simple ceremony held at Headquarters, 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Barangay Burgos, San Jose Tarlac yesterday October 25, 2021.
Hon. Romeo G Capitulo, the Municipal Mayor of San Jose highlighted the journey of his municipality towards attaining true and lasting peace free from the influence of the CTGs. " Nagpapasalamat ako sa pagbabayanihan ng Philippine Army, Philippine National Police at ibang ahensya ng gobyerno, sa tulong ninyo ay naipapabot natin at naipaparamdam sa mga taga San Jose kung ano ang tunay na kahulugan ng kapayapaan”.
In the SMNI News Interview, Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Henry Z Cabusao the Battalion Commander of the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion commended the bravery of the surrendered milisyang bayan and further asked them to spread the word that the government truly cares for the victims of the Communist Terrorist Groups.
